Question from a Female SSS Death Pensioner:
I want to know why my SSS Death Pension stopped after I gave birth to a child with another man. I did not marry this man, and we never lived together in the same house, so why was my SSS death pension stopped?
Answer:
Based on SSS policies, these are the following conditions that will stop your SSS Death Pension:
1. When you remarry
2. When you cohabit with another man,
or live together as husband and wife without being married
3. When you give birth to a child fathered by another man,
regardless of whether you lived together or not,
or whether you got married or not
